Congratulations to our Men's Central Highlands Team who travelled to Rockhampton last week to compete in the annual state Inter-Association team's event. This year our team consisted of Scott Hampton (Moranbah), Harry Wills (Emerald), Craig Dodd (Blackwater), James Russell (Blackwater) and non-playing captain Kevin O'Keeffe (Springsure). Congratulations to all Central Highlands players who travelled to Alpha last Saturday to challenge themselves to the sand and hot conditions. Ten teams of players battled it out on the day but accolades go to our awesome Middlemount contingency (Jamie Sullivan, Dean Sullivan, Maree Briese and Tony Smith) who took out the team event, winning the O'Keeffe "Astride the Divide" Shield and returning the trophy back to our district.
