Middlemount Scrapes Through – Astride the Divide Alpha

Congratulations to all Central Highlands players who travelled to Alpha last Saturday to challenge themselves to the sand and hot conditions.  Ten teams of players battled it out on the day but accolades go to our awesome Middlemount contingency (Jamie Sullivan, Dean Sullivan, Maree Briese and Tony Smith) who took out the team event, winning the O’Keeffe “Astride the Divide” Shield and returning the trophy back to our district.  I trust everyone who travelled or took the courtesy Central Highlands Bus enjoyed the day out in the west and we look forward to playing the shield again next year.. in cooler weather!
