Eighty-four players teed up to support the 2019 Middlemount Open last Saturday with six players carding a score of par or better.
A fantastic turnout of lady golfers saw the field return 22 scores for the day with Tieri's Lily McKelvie leading the charge in the morning returning a 1 under 72 to claim the 2019 ladies open title.
The men provided an equally hot day of scoring with three scores of 71 returned with Blackwater's junior talent Brock Olive taking out the Men's 2019 title.
Fifty two golfers enjoyed fantastic weather and a well presented course at this year's Astride the Divide at Middlemount on Sunday.
Congratulations to the formidable "Briese team plus one" consisting of Mal, Marree, Charlotte and Peter Ledger.
Runners-up on the day wee Keith Mayne, Gary Mayne, Don Offord and Shane Bower.
A big thank you to the four teams who travelled from Central West to participate in the biannual event and those who travelled within Central Highlands.
One hundred and two golfers enjoyed the season starter at Tieri on Saturday.

Forty-five golfers enjoyed a summers day out yesterday to finish off the 2108 golfing calendar.
James O'Keeffe (75) survived a three hole play off against Darcy Hagan to win the men's event and Charlotte Briese (77) dominated the season easily winning the ladies competition.
Golf Central Highlands President, Kevin O'Keeffe, thanked everyone for supporting golf in the district during 2018 and looked forward to seeing more players attending opens next year.

For the first time since its inception, Central West team of Gleeson, Masters, Vale and Clarke (pictured) blew the field apart with amazing golf to take out the bi-annual event in Tambo.
Fifty-one golfers, making up 14 teams completed in the October event.
Gleeson proved too convincing for the field carding a whopping 52 stableford points for his 18 holes of golf. Vale who also put together an awesome round of 43 points and with Clarke's respectable 38 points saw a dominate 133 point [...]
Hayden Hearne put together a Par round of golf this year's to take out the Dysart Open by one shot from James Hutchinson and Darcy Hagan.
