Lovely weather and great course conditions still proved too tough for most at this year's Dysart Open. Ashley O'Neill shot a respectable 73 to win the men's open by five shots from Danny Sellen. Charlotte Briese (pictured with Annette Taylor and Tracey Martin) also claimed an easy victory from Sonia Bray with a five shot buffer. The 2017 Comiskey Mining Services Middlemount Open Golf Tournament is done and dusted. Moranbahs' Scott Hampton carded a solid 73 to win the overall and Emeralds' Brooke O'Keeffe took out the ladies open with 81. Middlemount Golf Club would like to thank all the players who travelled, the volunteers who prepared the course and most of all Comiskey Mining Services for sponsoring the event. Emeralds' Harry Wills and Brooke O'Keeffe played outstanding under par golf to secure the Jetwash Emerald Open title for 2017. Brooke, who equalled her previously set course record of 4 under par, easily won the ladies titles. Her closest competitor was Middlemount junior Charlotte Briese (pictured below) who shot an outstanding par round.
